howgayismyfriend.com (also referred to as "Project K," "ProjectK," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by an individual based in the Republic of Kazakhstan. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the Service.

When you sign in with Google, we collect:

• Your Google account display name
• Your Google account email address
• Account creation timestamp
• Last sign-in timestamp

We also store:

• Your current credit balance (number of remaining scans)
• A record of credit purchases (amount, date) for payment verification purposes

We do NOT collect or store:

• Photographs or images of any kind
• Results of any analysis performed by the Service
• Quiz answers or responses
• Location data

Google Gemini processes your image under Google's own Privacy Policy and data retention terms. You can review Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

No personally identifying information is attached to image requests sent to Google Gemini.

The data we collect is used exclusively to:

• Authenticate your account and maintain your session
• Track your available credit balance
• Process and verify purchases
• Prevent abuse of the free tier and credit system
• Communicate with you if necessary regarding your account or a support request

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Service.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

We share limited data with the following third parties solely to operate the Service:

• Google — for authentication via Google Sign-In. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini (Google LLC) — receives uploaded photos solely for AI processing. No personally identifying information is attached to image requests.
• Payment processor — receives payment information necessary to complete transactions. We do not store payment card details.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from competent authorities.

We retain your account data (name, email, credit balance) for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records).

Since we do not store photos or results, there is no additional content to delete beyond your account record.

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the Service
